【摘要】:Thispracticeisintendedforusewheneverthedynamiccharacteristicsofanamusementrideordevicearetobedetermined.Theexistenceofthispracticeisnotintendedtoimplythatthereisarequirementtoperformspecifictestingonamusementridesordevices.Thegeneralprovisionsofthispracticeprovideinstrumentationspecifications,dataacquisitionandtestingprocedures,anddocumentationrequirementsthatwhenappliedwillimprovetherepeatability,reliability,andutilityofthetestresults.Basedonthegeneralprovisionsofthispractice,theSARCTestspecifications,whenfollowed,willyieldstandardizedtestresultsregardingthepatron-related,dynamicmotionofamusementridesordevices.TheSARCTestwillfacilitateboththemeaningfulcomparisonofthedynamicmotionofdifferentamusementridesordevicesandthetrackingofchanges,ifany,inthedynamiccharacteristicsofagivenrideordevice.1.1Thisdocumentestablishesastandardpracticeforacquisitionofdatarelatedtothedynamiccharacteristicsofamusementridesanddevices.1.2ThispracticealsodefinesthespecificrequirementsofaStandardizedAmusementRideCharacterizationTest(SARCTest)foruseincharacterizingthedynamicmotionofanamusementrideordevice.
