【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60332specifiestheprocedurefortestingtheresistancetoverticalflamepropagationforasingleverticalelectricalinsulatedconductororcable,oropticalfibrecable,underfireconditions.TheapparatusisgiveninIEC60332-1-1.NOTE1TestingtoIEC60332-1-2maybeperformedsimultaneouslywiththattoIEC60332-1-3ifrequired.RecommendedrequirementsforperformancearegiveninAnnexA.IEC60332-1-2specifiestheuseofa1kWpre-mixedflameandisforgeneraluse,exceptthattheprocedurespecifiedmaynotbesuitableforthetestingofsmallsingleinsulatedconductorsorcablesoflessthan0,5mmtotalcross-sectionbecausetheconductormeltsbeforethetestiscompleted,orforthetestingofsmallopticalfibrecablesbecausethecableisbrokenbeforethetestiscompleted.Inthesecases,theproceduregiveninIEC60332-2-2isrecommended.NOTE2Sincetheuseofinsulatedconductororcablewhichretardsflamepropagationandcomplieswiththerecommendedrequirementsofthisstandardisnotsufficientbyitselftopreventpropagationoffireunderallconditionsofinstallation,itisrecommendedthatwherevertheriskofpropagationishigh,forexampleinlongverticalrunsofbunchesofcables,specialinstallationprecautionsshouldalsobetaken.Itcannotbeassumedthatbecausethesampleofcablecomplieswiththeperformancerequirementsrecommendedinthisstandard,thatabunchofcableswillbehaveinasimilarmanner.(SeeIEC60332-3series.)
