【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthelaboratorydeterminationofapparentviscosityofengineoilsbycoldcrankingsimulator(CCS)attemperaturesbetween-5and-35?Catshearstressesofapproximately50000to100000Paandshearratesofapproximately10to10sandviscositiesofapproximately500to25000mPaús.Therangeofaninstrumentisdependentontheinstrumentmodelandsoftwareversioninstalled.Theseresultsarerelatedtoengine-crankingcharacteristicsofengineoils.AspecialprocedureisprovidedinAnnexA1forhighlyviscoelasticoils.Proceduresareprovidedforbothmanualandautomateddeterminationoftheapparentviscosityofengineoilsusingthecold-crankingsimulator.AspecialmanualprocedureisprovidedinAnnexA1forhighlyviscoelasticoils.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificwarningstatementsaregivenin7.1,7.2,7.3,andSection8.
